How should I come in for my curly cut?
Please arrive with your hair loose, dry, and in its natural curl pattern — no clips, ponytails, or buns. Your curls should look how you typically wear them.
If your hair isn’t properly prepared, a $50 fee will apply for a wash and detangle service, or we may need to reschedule your appointment.

What does a Curly Haircut include?
Each curly haircut starts with a one-on-one consultation, followed by a custom dry cut tailored to your curls.
I’ll teach you a full wash-and-go styling routine, provide product education, and create a personalized curl care plan to help you maintain and style your curls at home.

What is a hair detox?
A hair detox removes product buildup, mineral residue, and oils from your strands.

Why detox the hair?
Build-up prevents moisture from entering the hair shaft, leading to dryness and frizz. Detoxing clears that barrier and restores your hair’s natural shine and bounce.

Do you accept walk-ins?
No, all appointments are by booking only. Occasionally, same-day openings appear due to cancellations — you can find these or join the waitlist on the booking page.

What is a curly haircut?
A curly haircut is customized to your unique curl pattern, shape, and texture. I cut the hair dry, allowing each curl to fall naturally. Your haircut will enhance your curls’ shape, balance, and definition.

Will I see results right away?
Yes! You’ll notice an improved shape immediately. However, if your hair is lacking hydration, it may take a bit of time and proper product use for optimal curl definition.

Do you do pixie cuts or short razor cuts?
No, I do not offer pixie or short razor cuts.

Do you do twist-outs?
No, I specialize exclusively in wash-and-go styling with curly haircuts.

What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept (all major credit cards with a 3% surcharge) Cash, Zelle, Google Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, no additional fees.

Will I be able to style my curls at home?
Yes! I’ll walk you through simple, effective techniques to maintain your curls at home, and I carry the same professional products we use during your appointment.

How often should I come back for a haircut?
Most clients return every 4–6 months. If you’re in a transition phase, prefer shorter styles, or want more volume, you may benefit from a refresher cut or bang trim sooner. If you’re growing your hair out, longer intervals are fine.

Can I book a consultation?
Absolutely! Consultations are about 10 minutes long. Please note that follow-up appointments are not guaranteed immediately after, so plan your booking accordingly.

How long do services take?
Service time depends on your hair’s length, density, and chosen service — anywhere from 10 minutes (for consultations) to 2 hours (for full appointments).

What if I only need a trim?
A trim is still a cut — the same precision techniques apply. After your first full curly cut, you can book an express curly cut (a dry cut only, without shampoo service).

What if I wear my hair straight?
Curly haircuts are designed for those who primarily wear their hair in its natural curly state. While most clients experience minimal difference when straightening later, I can adjust the cut for straight styles if needed — this would be billed as an additional haircut service.
